Prehistory

Hi readers!

Learning about prehistory is not so difficult if you use CLIL methodology. Instead of discovering that period just by reading and memorizing from a book, the students played, visualized and discussed all the main facts. With all the information they created their own timeline.

If you want to know how they did it step by step, don’t forget to watch this video. Try to figure out what toilet tissue represented for our 6th graders.

Let’s learn vertebrate animals!

Do you want to know what have 3rd graders been doing during these days in Natural Science? In this case, you will enjoy the video below because you could see Els músics de Bremen (Bremen Town Musicians) and Els flaustistes d’Hamelin (The Pied Piper of Hamelin) working hard on their vertebrate animals’ poster. Enjoy it!

Owls are moving their body!

During these days, music and dance have entered in our Natural Science class to continue cheering and encouraging students to learn in English.

First graders learn a lot of words and concepts while they dance and enjoy together the song This is Me! The topic is the body and fun is the way we learn!

They want to share with you that experience with this little video. Click the link to continue dancing all together at home!

Enjoy and have fun!

Animal and plant cells

Hi readers!

We are the 5th graders and this week we will show you our creative activity!

During two weeks in Natural Science we have been working in groups of three students. We are learning about living things and we have designed animal and plant cells. We have learnt the most important parts of each cell and their function. At the same time, we have enjoyed ourselves.

We want to share our results with you!

Welcome!

Welcome to Science Corner!

We are really looking forward to showing you how we learn and enjoy at Primary. Here you will find many activities that we are going to do during the course. All of them will be very original, manipulative and communicative.

Come on! Let’s work in pairs, in groups by doing experiments, murals, oral presentations, interactive activities, posters and using flashcards.

Do you want to know more about it?

Don’t forget to visit us and enjoy our scientific world!
